Stomp
A hand-thrown ceramic paper press that compacts toilet paper and keeps the container tidy. By avoiding paper disposal in the toilet, the container can be emptied less frequently.

Toilet paper can be thrown into the bucket along with the solid waste, but at Harvest Moon, we choose to dispose of it in our separate trash bin. The stomp is hand-thrown by a local ceramicist, and the lid is made from leftover material from seat production. The stomp compresses the paper so it takes up less space, meaning the toilet's bucket doesn't fill up as quickly. It also looks nicer in the toilet when the waste is covered by black carbon cover in the black bio-bag, without being mixed with paper.
Material: Stoneware clay, wood composite and massive ash wood. Care: The glazed inside can easily be rinsed.
