The Harvest Moon story

At Harvest Moon, we’re rethinking what sanitation can be: accessible, sustainable, and designed for everyone. Not as a compromise, but as a better experience—something that works flawlessly, looks good, and simply feels good to use.

We’re a dedicated team of engineers and designers with over ten years of experience in sustainable sanitation, based in Jönköping and Stockholm. We build on Sweden’s strong tradition of innovation in construction, design, and environmental technology—and we bring that mindset into a category that’s long been overlooked.

Our belief is straightforward: sanitation should be water-efficient, enable nutrient recovery, and—most importantly—be  accessible to everyone, regardless of place, infrastructure, or project size. We believe we can contribute by creating products people actually enjoy using, while helping shape a smarter and more sustainable future.

That’s why we created Luna—our platform for modern, water-free and peat-free composting toilets. Luna combines toilet design, composting technology, and urine chemistry to deliver a hygienic, comfortable sanitation experience with a modern, intuitive user journey. The goal is simple: make everyday life as smooth as possible—wherever you are.
