Thomas Sandell is one of Sweden’s leading architects and designers. He chose Luna in a custom colour from an earlier edition, which he felt further enhanced its already strong aesthetic appeal. The contemporary houses, designed by Thomas himself, are located on the island of Ängsö in the southern Stockholm archipelago, overlooking Gränöfjärden. While the houses have running water, there is no blackwater drainage system.

Luna

The taupe-coloured lid picks up the tones of the tiles, becoming a natural part of the overall bathroom design.
A few years later, the family installed a second Luna in a newly built library higher up on the property, this time with a black base and a taupe-coloured lid.
