Petra Holmbäck new CEO

Petra Holmbäck is taking over as CEO of Harvest Moon, the Swedish company behind Luna, the water- and sewage-free toilet. She most recently held the role of Sales and Marketing Director at the company and succeeds Filip Sauer, who continues as Chairman of the Board. Harvest Moon has established production in Bankeryd outside Jönköping and currently supplies customers in Sweden and Norway. This autumn, the company is taking the next step in its international expansion, with Croatia as its first EU market. Petra Holmbäck's appointment as CEO comes at a stage where the company is increasing its focus on commercial growth and international expansion.

"Harvest Moon has gone from development to manufacturing, selling and delivering a finished product. Now it's about the next step: scaling sales, establishing ourselves in more markets and building more strong partnerships. That's the work I'm looking forward to carrying forward," says CEO Petra Holmbäck.

Petra Holmbäck has extensive experience in entrepreneurship, business development and leadership. She has helped build and run several companies and has also held senior positions in larger organizations. As Regional Manager at Nexer Group, she led operations across five offices with responsibility for both growth and results.

"I was drawn to Luna from the start because the product combines function and design with the solution to a concrete problem. In many places, water and sewage access is a limiting factor in how a property can be built and used. That's where I see a clear market for solutions that make things simpler," says CEO Petra Holmbäck.
